At Almiranta, we receive hundreds of new ideas each year from our customers for new functions, features, and reports. Each year, approximately 500 of those are implemented into the software in order to help companies and organizations manage their capex and opex process more efficiently. Afterall, our customers are at the forefront of the capex process, they know precisely what they need for their work.
From the start, our business model has always been to customize all customer accounts and to create new features and functions when needed, at no extra cost for our customers. Because when a company proposes a new feature, everyone wins. The new feature will likely benefit numerous companies within the similar industry. Often times, many of those new features would even benefit most, if not all industries.
One good example of this was the introduction of Roles within Capexplan. Roles were initially created for the manufacturing industry and the function provides companies the ability to create multiple roles. Each role can have a precise set of permissions for one single capex request at a time (ex: the role project manager can create a purchase order and can edit monthly forecast). Users can then be assigned to a specific request, with a specific role.
While the manufacturing industry made great usage of this function, numerous other industries (engineering, retail, pharma, construction, others) are using it today for their projects.
We encourage you to read what Capexplan offers for all industries. After all, Capexplan comes with all its features, regardless of your industry.
